Nature to You Loan Program

Enrich your programming with museum specimens.

The Nature to You Loan Program has an extensive library of specimens from plants, to mammals, to reptiles, to insects and birds. Our selection of flora and fauna is great for artists, teachers, scholars, school groups, home school, or anyone with an interest in the natural sciences. Become a member of the Nature to You Loan Program to access these incredible resources.

The Museum will remain temporarily closed through early 2021. The Nature to You Loan Program is open by appointment only. We strictly adhere to the COVID- 19 access guidelines.

Hours by appointment only: Tuesday/Wednesday 1-4 PM beginning October 6, 2020.

  • Members must schedule an appointment at least 30 minutes before you plan to arrive (schedule earlier to have the best chance at getting your preferred time).
  • Only one member may access the Loan Library at a time.
  • Masks are required in accordance with CDC recommendations. Members must have the mouth and nose covered while in the library.

Due to the space limitations in the Loan Library, 6 feet of social distancing may not always be possible but should be attempted. Hand sanitizer will be available to use upon entering and exiting.

What are we doing to keep you safe? All staff will have daily temperature checks and wear face coverings. All Loan Library specimens and equipment, including doors and carts, will be cleaned between each appointment.
